World Food Processing's Cleaning Facility

A view inside World Food Processing's cleaning facility.

Soybeans enter the cleaning facility through this loading bay.

Soft rubber cushioned loaders are used to gently enter beans into the cleaning system.

The first step in the cleaning process is the precleaner which siphons off dust and any light foreign materials like leaves and pods.

The next step is the gravity table where a more thorough cleaning is done. The table takes out more foreign materials including corn and other foreign seed material.

This unit is a destoner which is used to remove stones and other hard objects.

The belt cleaner does a thorough job of removing splits, any remaining foreign materials, and soybeans which are not perfectly round.

A sophisticated sizer allows four sizes to be screened at once.

The sizer also makes it possible to supply soybeans with a narrow range of size specifications.

A double lens color sorter pneumatically removes discolored beans.

The polisher shines up the skin coat of the soybeans as well as removes bacteria from the soybean skin coat.

Six 60 MT storage tanks are used to store different lots of beans. We have a special computer controlled blending system to allow for controlled blending of soybeans in order to achieve set levels of proteins and other criteria required by customers.

An automated bagging system is used to package soybeans in bags.

A bulk loader is used for bulk loading of 20 foot and 40 foot containers.

A tote loader is used to fill tote orders.

We have an insulated and air conditioned warehouse for proper storage of high grade soybeans and soy powder.

Our loading dock has four bays to accommodate loading of four containers simultaneously.
